Palshus Guesthouse

Palshus Guesthouse is located in a family residence.We live on the upper floors and the guesthouse is in the lower part of the house plus a small guesthouse in the garden. That gives us the possibility of providing the best possible service. The ceilings in the guesthouse are high and the rooms are bright. The rooms are equipped with TV and CD player. They share a kitchen with all essential appliances and cutlery. The bathrooms are also shared, with both shower and bath facilities. Our guests can have extra beds in the rooms, whether it be for children or an adult. We also offer privat sleeping-bag accomodations for backpackers in the summertime. In the garden we have hot tub for the guests to relax in after a nice travel day.

For this summer 2010 we also have 3 more rooms available at Einarsnes 44, one double room ,one triple room and a single room. The rooms have also shared bathroom and kitchen. This house is located about 2 min. walking from Palshus at Einarsnes 58. If you need any more information you are welcome to contact us.
 

Location

Palshus Guesthouse is in Skerjafjordur. This is a small, old and peaceful residential part of the city with many houses made of timber and the quintessential corrugated iron, which is quite a landmark of old Reykjavik. Skerjafjordur is close to Reykjavik airport for domestic flights and in walking distance from the city centre, about 20 minutes. Palshus is well located for the travelers without a car because the bus stops in front of the guesthouse.
